Privacy Policy
iDock — Effective Date: 30 September 2026
iDock is for personal Apple devices and other USB-C video devices. We do not run a cloud account service for the app, and we do not sell your data.
1. Data Collection
No accounts: iDock does not require an AlexisWorks account, email signup, or cloud login.
No analytics or advertising: We do not use third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or tracking pixels.
No sale of data: We do not sell, rent, or broker personal information.
2. Local Processing and Storage
Browsing history, search-engine choice, cookie policy, portal shortcuts, and appearance preferences are stored locally on your device. Deleting the app removes that local data.
iDock does not upload your history, shortcuts, or preferences to AlexisWorks servers.
3. Calendar
If you use the calendar, iDock asks the operating system for Calendar access so it can show and edit the calendars already on your device. Event titles, times, locations, and notes stay on your device and with the calendar accounts you have already configured there. They are not sent to AlexisWorks.
You can deny or revoke Calendar access at any time in System Settings.
4. Browsing and Third-Party Sites
iDock includes a browser for web apps, portal shortcuts you add, and web search. Pages you open are loaded from those sites. Sign-in cookies and site data stay in the local web view on your device. iDock does not operate the sites you visit.
Search uses the engine you choose. The default is Brave. Your search query is sent to that engine under its own privacy policy. It is not sent to AlexisWorks.
History retention is under your control, including turning history off. You can clear history and cookies in the app.
5. Permissions
The operating system may ask for Calendar access if you open the calendar. Network access is used to load the sites and search engine you choose. These permissions are managed by the operating system. You can change or revoke Calendar access at any time in system settings.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when features change. Updates will be posted on this page and, where practical, noted in the app.
